Control Geometry Nodes from Stream Deck without code
Turn exposed group inputs into controls for buttons or dials.
Open Studio Geometry from the examples folder matching your Blender version. Select Studio Geometry Object. Its Studio Geometry modifier uses Studio Grid, exposing Density, Scale and Seed. Adjusting these values does not require writing code.
Add Property Control or Property Dial in Stream Deck and read properties. In version 1.2 choose an active or fixed object, Geometry Nodes category, modifier and input. The selector shows current value, unit, type and available limits. Review the preview and save the assignment.
Density is an integer from 2 to 20, so use whole steps of 1. Scale accepts continuous values; 0.01 gives small adjustments. Seed is another integer. Inputs use semantic socket identifiers rather than list positions or translated labels.
Without dials, configure buttons to increase, decrease or set values. On Stream Deck + turn normally, turn while pressed for fine adjustment and press briefly to switch precision. Reset is explicit. Continuous gestures become one Undo step when Blender supports it.
External changes in Blender appear on the control through real state readback. Connected sockets, fields and read-only properties may prevent editing; values are not forced. Reassign a deleted object or socket. The integration does not choose a replacement automatically.
